Edward F. Whipps & Associates was established in 1992 by Mr. Whipps who had been a partner for over 30 years in large law firms including the international firm of Thompson, Hine & Flory.

Mr. Whipps has earned a reputation not only as a capable and effective matrimonial lawyer, but also as an active bar and community leader. For example, Mr. Whipps has served as the President of the Ohio Board of Psychology, the Upper Arlington Board of Education, and the Upper Arlington Area Chamber of Commerce and as Chair of several committees of the Columbus Bar Association and the Franklin County Trial Lawyers Association. He was a Founder, Trustee and President of the non-profit corporations, Creative Living, Inc., and Unverferth House. He is listed in the family law section of the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers and in Who's Who in America.
