Our Law Firm History
Our Central Ohio law firm was established by our founding attorney, Edward F. Whipps, a former partner for over 30 years in large law firms including the international firm of Thompson, Hine & Flory.
Mr. Whipps has earned a reputation not only as a capable and effective matrimonial lawyer, but also as an active member of the bar and a community leader. Throughout his career he has achieved many significant accomplishments and leadership roles:

In July 2000, Bobbie Corley O'Keefe joined our law firm and currently serves as Of Counsel. Ms. O'Keefe is an effective matrimonial lawyer as well as being an approved Franklin County Domestic Relations Court divorce mediator. She is active in various charitable and religious organizations and is a frequent speaker regarding international adoption.
Mark Narens became an associate attorney recently. He is also an effective matrimonial lawyer as well as an accomplished mediator and real estate attorney. He is involved in various civic and community activities including local theatre productions. He is a retired naval aviator (helicopter pilot).

Whipps & Associates participate regularly in continuing legal education in family law matters including uncontested and contested divorce, child custody and visitation, child support and alimony. Our Dublin law office serves as a convenient alternative for people wishing to avoid the hassle of downtown traffic. Both offices have well-situated parking.
